Lucy Chipman Musicianship

Lucy is a pianist and sound recording technologist. She started learning the piano at the age of 7 years and has since learnt the cello and flute. 

Lucy is a music graduate, holds a piano teaching diploma (dip.LCM) and a diploma in sound production. She has had extensive experience of piano teaching using the ABRSM and LCM boards. Her enjoyment and passion to teach has involved 20 years of piano teaching alongside working at Technicolor and the BBC in London as a sound archivist technician with summer secondments working on the BBC Proms at the Albert Hall.

Lucy is an enthusiastic teacher and committed to enabling her students to realise their full potential. She actively adapts her teaching approach depending on the students' way of learning and interests.

In her spare time, Lucy enjoys attending live music concerts, gardening, rowing and swimming.
