EMANUELE ADDIS - Guitar Tutor

Originally from Sardinia, Emanuele Addis is a London based lutenist and composer with a repertoire spanning the renaissance to contemporary classical and folk repertoire. In 2023 he graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied historical performance with Elizabeth Kenny.

In 2024 he was the first lutenist to win the New Elizabethan Award and in 2025 he debuted in Wigmore Hall with Londinium Consort.

At the Royal Academy, he took part in projects with the Academy of
Ancient Music, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Poème Harmonique for a tour in France and performed in Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, conducted by Laurence Cummings. In 2022 he founded Londinium Consort, a period ensemble that explores both contemporary and renaissance repertoire, and works closely in collaboration with composers to create new repertoire for period instruments. Having previously trained as a guitarist, he was selected by IGF and Making Music UK for a tour of solo recitals in England. Additionally, Addis has performed as a solo recitalist in Italy, Germany, Serbia, Bulgaria, France and England. He has performed at the Palazzina Liberty in Milan, at the Senato della Repubblica Italiana in Rome, Italian Institute of Culture in Munich, Germany, Theâtre du Vaudeville in Brussels, Treća beogradska in Belgrade, Kings Place and Wigmore hall in London.
