Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Jamile begun her violin studies at the age of 10 at the Guri Santa Marcelina (GSM), a social community music program for families from disadvantaged financial backgrounds. Here she studied under Felipe Santarelli (2011-2014) and Elisa Fukuda (2014-2017).

Jamile enjoyed chamber and orchestral playing during her time at GSM, earning the position of concertmaster of the GSM String Orchestra and the GSM Symphony Orchestra.

At 13 years old, she had her first solo concert at MASP (Sao Paulo Arts Museum), as well as winning a scholarship for a 3 week exchange with the Juilliard School in New York.

Recognised in the Brazilian classical music world as a rising talent, at the age of 14 she took part in masterclasses from internationally known violinists, as well as starting her semi professional orchestral career at the OJESP (Sao Paulo Youth Symphony Orchestra), where she played from 2014 till 2017, as Principal Second Violin and in her final year, winning the prestigious Machado Meyer Prize.

In 2017, the Head of Chamber Music at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) Jon Thorne, visiting Brazil for an exchange program, coached her chamber music group, and invited her to audition for Bachelors degree at RAM, where she studied from 2018 till 2023 on a full scholarship, the first female Brazilian violinist full scholar to study there.

She studied violin under professors Richard Ireland and Nicole Wilson. Whilst a student there, she enjoyed playing in orchestral projects and chamber music having important roles and rewards, such as winning the ASSET chamber music program with her quartet in 2019, leading RAM Musical Theater Orchestra and the RAM Opera Chamber Orchestra.

Currently, Jamile is improving and expanding her professional career in violin teaching and preparing for local and worldwide music opportunities, starting her Masters in Violin Performance in September 2025, in London.

As a current and long term member of Ilumina Music, Jamile toured Europe (Holland, Scotland, Austria and Germany) as part of their 2024 summer tour, also playing in Portugal and England with different orchestras as an invited guest member.

Jamile is very much invested in connecting to people through her instrument, and makes that her main goal every day of her career, never forgetting where she came from, working hard for music to be a greater channel for musicians to express and know themselves better as human beings.
